Torrevieja is one of the few places where you can visit the inside of a submarine to experience the crew’s living conditions for yourself.
The visit covers all areas of the ship so it will delight submarine lovers and all those who’re not claustrophobic. This vessel is also accessible for visitors with reduced mobility thanks to a vertical lift with an access gangway and railings. The S-61 Delfín was the first Spanish Navy ship to become a floating museum, as a matter of fact, in the city that awarded it its battle ensign in 1971.
Next to it is the Patrol Ship Albatros III, a vessel that belonged to the Customs Surveillance Service until 23 March 2006, when it was welcomed by Torrevieja as its second floating museum.
