Shed 15 of the south dock of the port of Gandía houses this exceptional museum, which brings together a hundred replicas of ships.
One hundred and forty (and rising) wooden scale models of ships of all eras and sizes, replicated in with bountiful detail. “Bella Cala” is just one of the vessels that Manolo Estrella, artist and fisherman the descendant of fishermen, has meticulously built over more than two decades.
A notable work of documentary research and enormous craftsmanship, which shows the passion for the sea of the people in this country.
