Costa Blanca
Comunitat Valenciana

The Peñón de Ifach, the emblematic one-kilometre-long rock that goes into the sea, is a reference point for sailors sailing around the Mediterranean.

This enormous limestone rock, which is now a Natural Park. The Peñón de Ifach rises 332m above the sea and is only connected to the land by a narrow isthmus, making it one of the most unique and beautiful geographical features of the entire Mediterranean coast.

With an area of only 50 hectares only 1 km long, it’s the smallest natural park in the Region of Valencia and one of the smallest in Europe. Nevertheless, its peculiar nature attracts more than 100,000 visitors per year. Another of its main attractions is its seabed. The rocks that have fallen from the Rock into the sea have created a rugged underwater landscape, full of arches and tunnels that offer divers exploring its waters incredible light effects.
